City Centre Penthouse

Very clean and well kept apartment in a good location - no issues, will book again. All rooms in very good condition and plenty of space.

Absolutely amazing location with massive balcony . Whole apartment it’s beautiful decorated would have been perfect if there was a TV in the bedroom too but it definitely didn’t effect me at all .

Great location in the city centre with a dedicated car parking space. Spacious, light and bright 1 bedroom penthouse apartment with a lovely balcony that attracted the sun in the evening. Very clean and well maintained apartment. Comfortable bed and furniture in the lounge and dining areas. Tesco express shop on the ground floor of the building with all the essentials available. Very approachable host who rapidly arranged for an issue with hot water flow at the kitchen sink to be fixed.

Bathroom - no shaving mirror or toilet rolls. Kitchen - no kitchen roll or tea towel. Empty bottle of washing up liquid. No separate recycling bin. Apart from the above I found no faults whatsoever.

The only good thing I could say is that it’s by a supermarket. It was also decently big for England.

The toilets didn’t flush correctly, the shower drain wouldn’t work water would gather in the shower, the shower had MOLD, the bedsheets were stained and dirty, the couch was ripped up, there was no trash can in the bedrooms, the beds are extremely noisy we couldn’t sleep, the balcony door lock in one of the rooms would not lock it took almost 30 minutes to finally lock. This is bad considering there were stairs leading to the balcony because of construction so anyone could get in, we got there 30 minutes early and he wanted to charge us 35 pounds for early check-in, so we had to stand in the rain until check-in time, he was rude with our questions about the property, and when we told him about our concerns he told us we can leave but he won’t refund us for anything. We left early to go to a hotel, wasting money because the penthouse was bad quality. There is also a non-refundable deposit that is 519.88 dollars.
