Allocated parking, comfortable bed.

The description given in bookings.com advert was misleading. My husband and I would never have booked this property had we known it was on the third floor with four flights of stairs and no lift. The advert said it was first floor, which we thought would be just about manageable. The property is too far from town to walk and there are no local pubs or restaurants, though there is an Asda nearby and a couple of takeaways. The biggest complaint is the seating arrangement. There was one small three seater settee only and this had blown with all springs digging out of the upholstery and so uncomfortable. The three dining chairs were no better as they were sagging downwards and springs clearly broken. This meant that there was nowhere to sit after a long day out enjoying the area. This is unacceptable. There was mould around the bath near the taps, there was no plug for the bathroom sink, the towels were grey with age and the bath mat was only fit for the bin. If a little money was invested in this property it would be a good place to stay for two or three people, but at present I would advise you to look elsewhere.

There were sharps and medication in the cupboard, the flat seemed to have problems with the pipes as one night the flat stunk (all through the outdoor corridors too), the toilet takes about 30 minutes to be able to flush it after being flushed, the plates, cutlery and cups had food/lipstick on them - just not what we’d expect for the price we paid.

Settee was very uncomfortable
