It was very central.

Desperately needs some upgrading and TLC. Carpets were threadbare. Rooms very cramped and not even a picture on the wall. Pictures on the net were misleading. Have cancelled my return stay with them.

I loved the food and the Oub atmosphere.

I didn't like not being able to enjoy a hot bath. The gas powered water heating system was faulty.

Pub and breakfast was good.

We were in Rooms 10 and 11. They were painting tables etc and left them on the small walkway to our rooms, which we had to squeeze past. We had no hot water in Rooms 10 and 11. We did ask them to fix it. The Manager was clueless and the issue was not resolved. It was a freezing cold weekend with no hot water to bath or wash. We ended up having to boil water in the kettle and fill the basin to wash. Room 11 had an oil heater and electric blanket but Room 10 did not have an electric blanket and the heater was not working either. So not a great stay for the night at all. We will not stay there again.

I liked the ambience and the place as a whole.

There was no hot water in one of the rooms that we booked. I also did not like the carpet.
