Aisla Cottage • East Cowes • Isle of Wight

The location was amazing and central to things to do. The people/ community were friendly and welcoming. It was good value for money. A lovely clean cottage.

The cottage is in an excellent location for exploring all of the Isle of Wight. The accommodation being upside down meant we didn't have to lug the suitcases upstairs. There are excellent views of all the comings and goings from Cowes and we were not disturbed by any noises from the chain link ferry even though it's next to the cottage. The bus stop to Newport is only a couple of minutes walk away plus a Coop and a Waitrose are a similar distance. There are not many places to eat in East Cowes but if you don't want to drive there are plenty via the ferry in Cowes. The Folly and the Lifeboat are both a short drive away in East Cowes and being along the river there are lovely views. Also, the Italian restaurant Prego a couple of doors away is worth a visit. The kitchen is very well equipped but might I suggest one cupboard/drawer be kept empty as there was nowhere to store our provisions. We would certainly consider staying here again if we come back to the Isle of Wight.

The balconies are smaller than we expected and we couldn't use them as the outdoor furniture doesn't appear to have been cleaned, ready for the summer. The bed was creaky. The kettle and toaster had to be cleaned before we could use them.

Lovely and perfect cottage with all facilities. Easy to access. We had a great stay.

Little squeaky beds and dishwasher can be kept open perhaps to remove that smell.

Location was good. The facilities were also good. Owner was very helpful when contacted

Heating was too high and unable to lower it

Our second visit. Superb location. Excellent and most comfortable, well equipped accomodation.
