Effie's Suites Old town

A very nice modern apartment. Very clean. Big comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with large walk-in shower. Great location with good bars, cafés and restaurants nearby. Well equipped kitchen. Good WiFi. Easy instructions for getting into the apartment.

Location was excellent and comms from the host was great, a great little studio in a beautiful city, would definately use it again on our next trip

Only some bits and pieces really - Instructions to use the safe didnt correspond to the safe in the property There was no little shelf for toiletries in the shower or anywhere to hang the shower when you were in it Toilet bin and kitchen bin liners not provided - Guests could then empty for the host during their stay Stairs leading upto the property could do with a light on the ground floor level - Very dark at the bottom

The apartment is in a great location in the heart of Corfu town. It is very comfortable, clean and well equipped for a longer stay. The only FYI, there is no elevator, only accessible by stairs. Close to the port walking or via bus.

Location

Apart from being in the city center and having a good location, this accommodation is quite modest. Primarily, the same owner has at least 2 units in the same building, and the apartment itself is of course not the same everywhere. Therefore, the pictures you are viewing may not be pictures of the object you booked. If a third person is to be accommodated in the building, consider that he will not be able to sleep properly, because in addition to the fact that there is no pillow for the third person, an even bigger problem is that a 10 cm thick mattress, which is almost hard, has been placed over the pull-out armchair like the tree itself and has a slope of at least 30 degrees... Also, the building is extremely old, so even though the building itself is decently decorated, the steps of the guests above you will look like they are going to fall into your bed from above at any moment. The property does not have a terrace, nor any device for drying towels and customer's costumes, unless you bring clothespins and spread everything under the window... we did not see the staff for 5 days and no one changed the bed linen, cleaned anything or took out the trash... The stairs are circular. and narrow, there is no elevator and it is difficult to carry suitcases.

Great location, spacious room with a large wardrobe, fully renovated, comfortable space with air conditioning. It has basic kitchen appliances, like a fridge and stove.

The owner was unreachable on the number they gave us. The wifi died two days before we left, so we just went without internet, with no one to help. 4G is also pretty bad in the area. The hot water needs to be turned on and off by request of the owner, this is rather inconvenient. The bathroom is small and the shower is leaking. There is no room cleaning, so you have to manage on your own - like finding out where to put your trash, in a country where you need to put your toilet paper in the bin. Good luck finding the containers on the hill. Also, you have to buy your own paper and bin bags. The house has plenty of cockroaches, the room only had one. I killed it for you, you are welcome.
