Le Cabanon

We had a fantastic first visit to Hiriketiya Beach thanks to the owners at staff at Le Cabanon. The property is a stylish and serene boutique hotel just around the corner from the beach, making it an unbeatable location. Romain kindly upgraded us after some monkeys caused some damage to the adjacent open-air bathroom, and we couldn't be happier with the space. From the plush comforter to the separate shower and beach towels to spare adapters, they truly thought of everything for guests to have a comfortable stay. The only even remotely negative point was that the Wifi was weak for our first two nights but as soon as we mentioned it to Romain, he got it squared away in no time and even brought us beers as a thank you for our patience. I can't speak highly enough about Le Cabanon! Book it and enjoy the little slice of paradise.

First of all, we have been warmly welcomed by Romain, the owner of the place, who offered us an upgrade because our room was not tidy enough due to rainfalls. He sent us a WhatsApp with all places he would recommend in the area. Very much appreciated when u don’t know the area. The room itself was spacious and very nice decorated and well designed. You can see that Romain and Cassandra put lots of love in every details. Additionally to towels in different sizes they also provide some for the beach as well as a basket with useful items such as Moskitospray, torches, music box etc… Very nice. We wanted to check out in the afternoon and Romain offered us to store our luggage in another room so that we could enjoy our last day in Hiriketiya. This also was more than appreciated. The beach is in walking distance and very nice. We were there off season so that it wasn’t crowded at all. There are surf rentals, “restaurants” and massage place. We’ve been twice at Mama’s Palace and we enjoyed it.

We loved the place! Nicely decorated and clean room. Romain and Cassandre are really sweet and helpful, they provided us a motorbike and the surf lessons from their local friends. They also recommend all the good places around (for food and sightseeing). The beach is super close, so the location is perfect. We definitely recommend to stay at Le Cabanon!

Super cute place literally a 2min walk from the beach on a very quiet street. The hosts were extremely responsive and provided all kinds of information (where to eat, get massages etc) and also advised on travel plans in general - we felt very taken care of.

Amazing stay, super friendly hosts and amazing location. Tastefully decorated and within a minutes walk to the beautiful beach. We would highly recommend!
