Le Cabanon

Met by the host with a lovely refreshing iced tea and shown around the area! Beautiful room and a perfect location. Favourite place we have found in Sri Lanka so far!

The location is amazing, literally 2 mins walk from the beach! The apartment is beautiful and quiet!

The mattress was very uncomfortable (could feel the springs coming through). With a new mattress it would be perfect!

A great location near to the Sunset Bar where we had a lovely breakfast. We stayed in the lower apartment which was comfortable and clean. Manager Emilie was brilliant - friendly and helpful in all respects. Fun to watch the monkeys in the trees from our terrace!

-Romain is an excellent host, entrusted to bring you the best experience in Hiriketiya. He knows the locality and is a generous person. -Nature/jungle spririt...so peaceful and relaxing.

Well not that I didn't like but let's say that kitchen and bathroom are a little "rustic". It is part of the experience but if you are a familly or like to cook, it is not the best place to do so.

- Romain is an amazing host (helpful, kind and reachable in any case) - we got an upgrade for the first night for a bigger room which was very beautiful - our „normal“ room had a lot of beautiful details - the stay has a perfect location if you wanna do surfing at Hiriketiya Beach

Our room (the smallest of the three in the Le Cabanon) has no daylight and little possibility of ventilation - there are just 4 wholes above the entrance and a very small window (which is covered by trees) —> for this reason the room has unfortunately a bit the smell of a cellar Due to the jungle area there are many mosquitoes and therefore it would be great to have a mosquito net over the bed.
