Cosy Lakeview Apartment

The view is amazing The location is good - noting that a decent level of fitness is needed to access the property from the parking area as there are a lot of steps which was fine for us but absolutely not suitable for those who may have additional mobility needs. The property is close to the town centre but again, a high level of fitness is required to walk from the town to the property as the hills are steep. The facilities are fine for a stay where you are out a lot - utensils etc seem reasonable to prepare simple meals

- the noise from upstairs is hard to ignore and the constant banging is tiresome; especially on the weekend. The heavy footprints are bad and don’t stop until 23:30 at the earliest -the talking and noise on our first night was non stop and unbearable until early hours of the morning. We had to message our hosts to deal with it which is contradictory to the multiple messages both on the booking confirmation and printed in the property where noise must be kept to a minimum from 2200 which we respectfully followed. -the towels need to be replaced! They are thin, poor quality and not sufficient for more than a one night stay. -if you are a large person then the shower is not for you! It is tiny and not suitable for tall people like us (or for larger body habitus) -the price we paid was higher than it is worth. Suggest owners look at market price and reconsider as it was not worth $400aud+ per night.

The bathroom and toilet. Needs major upgrade. Toilet smaller than an airline loo. Creaky floorboards above made it noisy with heavy footed people. Garden and terrace also needs upgrading. Some trip hazards.

Noise of people moving around upstairs was annoying. Bathroom needs upgrading, especially shower...you can hardly move in it. Should mention outside steps you need to walk to get to accommodation...one if our party was in crutches.. difficult..

steep steps going to the house ref not defrosted for new renters shower too tight yes you can really hear people walking on the second floor, luckily they stop around 11:30pm.

The instructions for the stay could be a bit shorter, but no big problem. The bathroom is a bit dated, as per description, but it's clean and everything works fine. For the price it is really good.

Small, dark, cramped bathroom fixtures and fittings were not fit for purpose and the facilities were unacceptable and did not accurately reflect the property as advertised.
