Cosy Lakeview Apartment

It had a lake view but inhibited by posts

Shower was like the type you find in a camper van, quite small. Toilet was also tiny. It had mould overhead and smelled mouldy. This was not winter. The whole place was tired, structure, fitting, fixtures and appliances. I thought I was paying for a bit of luxury plus a view for $385. Could have got the same view and a nice hotel room for less.

Location was short drive from CBD. Views are spectacular. Beds clean & comfortable.

Bath towels were small and thin. In a facility for 4 people why are there only 4 towels? In years of travel, this is the only facility in which we have stayed in which extra towels were not available. Similarly for coffee/tea cups. Why only four? Who washes their cup immediately after use? What do you use if one is broken? Again, unheard of anywhere else we have stayed. Shower recess is suitable only for short, slim, people. Mould was evident all around the roof edge of the shower recess. Garden adjacent to front steps needs pruning. We constantly had our clothes snagged on thorns & branches.

The view over Queenstown is lovely

The sound insulation to the neighbors above is none existing. You can hear their voices as well as them and their children running around straight over your head. The stove top was dirty as well as the top of the oven for microwave. The bathroom is dated and wasn’t clean either.

Lake view was the winner of this property from the balcony and bedroom.

Many stairs to go up, as needed carry all luggage was a challenge for me. No stairs or LED step light at night. Shower very very small only can stand. No electric point at bathroom sink These are only an information for the people NOT COMPLAINING.

If you are a light sleeper, this place is not good. The noise from people moving and opening cupboards upstairs and something banging in the wind kept us all awake for hours. But, the view is probably worth it.
