Bergstaðastræti Apartment

Wonderful apartment home in a quiet central location in Reykjavik. The hosts were great - very kind, gracious and helpful throughout. It was an excellent base from which to explore this uniquely interesting city/country.

Nothing- we liked everything about the property

very nice host the beds were very comfy location is great. few minutes walk from city center

thw flat is very small in the description its said there is a hot tub, but its not working

The property is walkable to all of the fun stuff. The hosts were wonderful and helped with dinner reservations at an amazing restaurant. The hot tub is fantastic and made relaxing after walking everywhere so easy. The hosts left us wine and there was fruit and breakfast items too. We were there with kids - a room with a door to close for them was great. We loved it. I would come back in a heartbeat. We found parking without trouble the whole time. We saw northern lights by walking a few blocks to the church. It was all fun and easy.

It was great. Cleaning fee made it a bit expensive for just two nights. But it’s a big place.

The kitchen supplies range could be improved (not an issue if you'll eat out often).

Great location with a short walk to food, Harpa, rainbow street, etc. Apartment was clean and had all of the essentials.

Need to walk through one bedroom to get to the second bedroom.

Lack of contact from the hosts I had to chase them for details The house isn’t appropriate for groups Room 2 is through the main bedroom so if travelling with friends - this is not appropriate for anyone that may be a couple as everyone has to walk through their room to get to the kitchen, bathroom or front door Spa not in use We had to leave the property in order to feel comfortable and had to get last minute accomodation so our travel friends didn’t have to walk through our room every time they needed something They charge a cleaning fee when there and it is not included in the price

Clean, well equipped, and great location

Great location and space.

Like the vast majority of properties in Reykjavik, the warm/hot water has an odor. I had read about it before booking, so that’s on me. That said, we didn’t shower, so don’t think I’d stay longer.

The location was perfect and the owners are very friendly.

There was a little bit of confusion about how to get into the property but the owner quickly came and let us in.
