Bergstaðastræti Apartment

Fantastic location and property had everything we needed.

Only downside was contact as I did email a couple of times but didn’t get a response at all. I don’t know if this is the fault of Booking.com not passing the messages on.

Location was excellently. Quiet yet quick walk to shopping and grocery. Cute apartment.

Didn’t have the code when I arrived and had to call to get it. Freezer drawers were broken. Beds only had one flat pillow each.

The location was perfect!

Hot tub wasn't available, but no biggie

A cute little apartment right in the old city within walking distance to shops and attractions. Our host gave us a bottle of wine on arrival which we couldn't buy on a Sunday so it was a treasure to receive. The apartment was tastefully appointed and a home away from home.

The second bedroom was through the main bedroom which was a little inconvenient but workable. The bathroom ceiling sloped which was troublesome for the men for the toilet but workable.

Good location, bathroom is small and ceiling height over the toilet is low for tall people

Owners were not v responsive

The very nice owners were helpful. It was nice having them in the apartment above. Nicely decorated, comfortable, cozy. Beds are quite comfortable . Room with 2 singles is small but fine for our 2 adult kids. Walking distance from bus station, and many of the Rekyjavik attractions. If we stayed in Rekyjavik again this would be our first choice for lodging.

Wonderful location, clean and cosy spot, very helpful owners.

Location is the best feature. The host was very nice and was waiting for us with the key. She left a bottle of wine, which was really nice, and the kitchen had salt, sugar and the basics.

I didn't know she was going to wait for us and was tense without knowing how to get the key, but she was there and answered at the end of the day.
