Plenty of room , comfortable beds , liked everything about this place , great views , highly recommend it for a stay at Waiheke island .

Loved it here! Location was nice, quiet, and private. The view was beautiful, and the location was super convenient as well. Rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfy. Bathroom was super clean and modern. The living area opening out onto the deck really made the space flow and gave great vibes to hang out in. Kitchen was well equipped, and we loved prepping food in the space. Furniture and decor was also awesome: retro but modern and comfy. The host was really accommodating, kind, and helpful as well. Will definitely be staying here if we get the chance to come back!

Can't think of anything. (There is another pod for other guests next door, but the design of the pods means you don't even know/hear the other guests are there. Not a negative for me at all, just something to note.)

We stayed at Hidden Valley for the summer/New Years period and had the absolute best time. This place is so beautiful and the rooms/furnishings were even nicer than I was expecting. Beautiful linen, everything you need for cooking in the kitchen, stunning bathroom etc. This place is luxury. We had a car with us which made it super easy to get around - Hidden Valley is in a central location to all the wineries on Waiheke so we loved how easy it was to get everywhere. We also used a taxi a lot to go to places like Charlie Farley's and Heke, and it was about $20-$30 one way.

Like everyone mentions, the driveway! I had read reviews about the steepness of the driveway, but it was a lot steeper than I was expecting. That first drive down in our ute was pretty scary but we got used to it! Most taxis won't come down the driveway so you have to hike to the top to meet them, and then the walk back down in the dark can be pretty scary but we just did it slowly! Some taxi companies have 4WD taxis so you can request one of those to pick you up from the bottom.

The only thing missing was AC! :) The driveway is truly steep. It is an amazing place!
