Well presented and an exceptional location, local shop well stocked and an ideal location for exploring islands, spent time in the sun room watching the changing landscape and wildlife. Chilled time had by all.

We simply loved the place. The sunlounge is the master piece of the cottage : comfortably sat down on the couch, you can admire beathtaking and unforgettable sunsets on the loch Lihnne and the mountains behind. The cottage itself holds the charm and the authenticity of old houses. The location is fine : you feel the spirit of the highlands but not too bound with the car : there is a shop a few minutes away by walk ; likewise the ferry to Lismore island, where you can enjoy a journey by bike. Our host was very helpful, instructions clear. Our first booking on booking.com, not disappointed !

"A very comfortable stay in an exceptional cottage with superb views."

10.0

TOFH is a traditional west coast cottage restored to a high standard. The sun room overlooking the loch is exceptional, the views are amazing, always changing with the weather. The cottage is very comfortable, soft sofas and a lovely double bed with high quality bedding. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, fridge and freezer etc. Plenty of room, TV if needed, but the views of the loch and wildlife were more than enough. There’s a community food store in the village, run by volunteers, a gift shop and two restaurants (didn’t use them so can’t recommend). The pedestrian ferry to Lismore is very close by, visited the island twice to see the wild flowers. A truly superb cottage in a stunning location.

Nothing.
