Highview Central

The view was great and it was close to town. It was lovely sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the sunset.

Unfortunately there was construction right outside from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The kitchen cupboards holding the dishes were too high to reach for 3 of the 4 adults so needed a stool or small ladder to reach dishes. The smallest room had 2 single beds with nothing else able to fit in it, perhaps ok for young children but not adults. As there was no air conditioning, it was hot in the bedrooms at night, especially the small one. Parking was often a bit of an issue.

Lovely view, very well equipped apartment, good layout, nice bathrooms, plenty of cups, plates etc. We liked having a washing machine too.

No room to hang our clothes in two of the bedroom wardrobes due to a cot, vacuum cleaner and clothes airer in one wardrobe and lots of pillows, duvet and extra bedding in the other.

Great location with an awesome view! All kitchen utensils and appliances worked. Good fridge and pantry space. Had plenty of cups and plates to cater to our large group. BBQ was perfect for use. Plenty of seating. Cosy home to chill or entertain before hitting the town, it was perfect for us.

A lack of rubbish bins inside the home & only a few rolls of toilet paper, so with a big group remember to grab a pack before you arrive! Stairs… a few stairs to climb to get into apartment but worth it once at the top! Ensure the door into the apartment is shut completely behind you, the door gets stuck on the carpet and is often open, so you need to close it hard when leaving the room. Windows had cracks in glass (no fault of our own) but was a timely reminder to check property even if you are in a rush.

Great location, amazing view, warm and cosy apartment, clean and tidy with everything you possibly need! Felt like a ‘home away from home’, we especially loved playing NZ Monopoly (supplied) by the fire, great family memories created!

Beds were a little uncomfortable, but nothing compares to your own bed, so it was fine.
