An English Gem near Union Station

It was nicely decorated and comfortable. The location was good. The communication with the owner was an added bonus as they communicated everything in a timely manner. nice and quiet location.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

This home served as a good base for sightseeing Washington. It was reasonably priced, spacious and clean. Spot on really for what we wanted as explorers on a budget.

It is noted on the listing that there is a noise that comes from a furnace in the main bedroom. My view is that this warning is understating the issue. This noise was recurring for the entire duration of our stay, including at night, and unless you have ear plugs (which we fortunately did) would render the main bedroom useless for sleeping. We were happy to pay the requested security deposit, though it is unsettling that this cannot be managed through Booking.com. Following check out, the property owner did not return our deposit for 8 days, which even then required me contacting her on several occasions. It says on the listing it will be returned in 3 days.

It was all good. Nothing to complain.

Apartment was clean and comfortable but we booked it just to sleep in it.

The owner of this place was rude. Before our stay she asked for security deposit. After our stay she sent us a pictures of a hole in the kitchen wall that was obviously because of wear. And we didn’t even use the kitchen. We said that to her but she denied that the hole was there before. So she returned us just half of our security deposit.

This basement apartment is very spacious and and clean, I love the decor of the place and the kitchen was very practical although I didn't use it much.

The location is perfect if you have a vehicle but for people who love to walk everywhere it isn't a short walk to the tourist attractions. The apartment has free on-street parking but there are many cars there.

Worst accommodation experience in my life. I do not recommend to anyone. Nothing more is worth writing, because the owner of the accommodation denies everything, as I read in other reviews
