Comfortable, cosy cottage, peaceful location, close to local villages, good facilities

Parking spot was very tight, could hear slight noise from property owners and vice versa

It was clean, compact and close to Windermere. The breakfast was provided; bread for toast, cereals, nespresso coffee, tea, butter and jams. Also a microwave, full sized fridge and small sink.

The stairs to the bathroom were steep. There is a bannister on the right and a pull rope on the left. Fine if mobile. If not, it might be a challenge. We found that it added to the character of the property!

Location is awesome and price is great. Host is very responsive and gave great recommendations. The health centre is easy to use and well stocked

WiFi didn't work properly, could connect but didn't provide internet. Didn't chase host to fix as used data instead, so assume they would have fixed quite easily

Lovely little place tucked away from it all. Loved the quirky features of the converted cow shed. It was clean, warm and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a weekend in the Lakes. The lovey touches of bread, preserves, milk, tea, coffee and cereals were most welcome. Nice to walk to the pub for dinner. A great place to stay.

The area was lovely. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. It was clean and tidy.

Not much we didn’t like about the properly honestly besides the sunlight coming in through the curtains.
