Location was fine. The actual apartment provided was nice enough.

Booked ground floor at front, given top floor at rear no explanation. I thought I had it wrong so didn't raise the point, someone else was already in the one I booked. It was a disjointed start. Netflix was said to work in the original apartment, not so in top floor, had been a booking clincher. The space was bereft of detail and interest, no books or games and two black folders with same info. Beds hard, 4 cheap teabags, no dishwasher tabs, no tea towel. Special request pint of milk, got those horrible tiny pots of longlife, two tiny sudless soap bars in main bathroom nothing else. The accommodation is good but the operation of it is below expectation. I shouldn't be there to be the lesson the hotel learn from.

Main living/kitchen/dining area was lovely - spacious with nice sofa and armchair plus dining table. Tea/coffee and milk pots provided was appreciated! Bedrooms were comfortable - the ensuite was a little snug but functional. Nice decor, not overly fussy. Plenty of crockery/cutlery etc.

Not enough towels for 3 of us - only 2 large bath towels and one hand towel that we could find, but we only realised too late so made do. The shower control bar in the ensuite has been put on upside down so it's quite tricky to use as the controls you twist for temperature/turn on & off go the opposite way and aren't easy to manipulate. Light in the hall was on permanently, (fire safety?) and was really quite bright. Then the glass over the bedroom doors meant it was shining into the room, and so it wasn't as dark as I would like for sleeping.

We were very warmly welcomed and we were personally taken to our final property.

The apartment we originally booked had been double booked by the hotel (or a sister hotel?). The receptionist/ manager was very apologetic and offered us a cottage which was larger, for the same price, but 10/15 minutes drive into the country. The cottage was nice but we had hoped to stay in town.

Location was fabulous and the building was just beautiful. Loved how there was secure parking. Kitchen was so well equipped.

Everything was lovely. Due to the nature of the building, most of the rooms have opening doors rather than windows. This means you can't open windows at night for ventilation and I'm not used to that.

Felt like home away from home. Staff were friendly and let us park at the property to explore the town before checking in. Apartment was bigger than expected and a lovely seating area outside. Great place for a wheelchair users. Lovely big rooms and comfy. Looks exactley like the pics.

Smell of damp/ drains. Didn’t meet my def of “luxury” (simple things like UHT milk and bathroom products)

We've now stayed in almost every apartment here and this was my partners favourite so far.

Some of the furniture needs a look at (screws need tightening that sort of thing) but nothing major.
