The apartment was lovely, great size and well equipped.

The Friday night was perfect, however the Sat night , whoever was upstairs ran about the place for hours on end, after finally falling asleep , there was banging on doors and then the running about again at 03.49am. Just a shame as everything else was brilliant.

Didn’t even get to stay here! Avoid at all costs. Please read!

We were redirected to the “four seasons hotel” to collected the keys. Waited 20 minutes to be told the apartment wasn’t in use, that they’ve tried to shut down bookings but Booking.com wouldn’t let them. Told they tried to contact me - however I and no correspondence. Eventually were told that they would book us into the neighbouring Gwesty’r Marine Hotel and Spa, which was allegedly “more expensive” anyway. We reluctantly agreed after quickly seeing some okay pictures online. Wow, the room we were given was unclean with stains on the carpet, live plug sockets hanging off the wall, broken headboard, and the fire alarm going off at 1am. There were no fire safety instructions, so we were left confused and scared not knowing where to go or what to do! We also noted that whilst waiting in the four seasons, another family who had also booked the apartment was also being funnelled into the Marine hotel and spa.

The location

We were told an hour before checking in that they hadn't picked up our original booking, so we didn't get the property we had booked, we wanted a self contained apartment, we ended up with 2 rooms at a hotel round the corner, not very impressed

Location was fabulous with floor to ceiling view of the sea. The apartment was very clean with good kitchen equipment available.

We were right in the centre so could hear people outside but not a problem at all.

The apartment was done up to a very high spec and was perfect to host us and our baby in. Very spacious and quiet, ideal location and very close to the high street and promenade. Although we didn’t use it very much, the kitchen and choice of bathroom options (shower or bathtub) were perfect and enough for a larger party of guests.

The parking directions were not very clear or easy to find. This would easily be resolved if it was explained that the carpark was actually accessed by going through the bowls or tennis courts entrance on the left. We also mistakenly left behind some clothing after showering and only realised until we came home and called back the very next morning. However, even though we know the clothes had been left behind, the hotel were very dismissive and were insistent that they hadn’t found anything and never called back. Therefore, we would advise to thoroughly check the apartment before check out but do not expect to retrieve any personal belongings, less than 24hrs later.

Clean & tidy

We had an upgrade to a fantastic, seafront apartment which was absolutely fabulous. It was light, roomy, spacious and well equipped.

It was amazing.

Apartment was very clean and in a great location for walking around the town. Full kitchen items, washer dryer was nice to have.

Beds are very firm.
