Llys yr Wylan

I can't review Llys Yr Wylan as on arrival we were told we had been upgraded to Tŷ Belgrave on the seafront. Not really an upgrade as the price was about the same anyway. We were given a 2 bedroom apartment with ensuite bathrooms, with kitchen/living area. It was on the second floor up steep stairs not ground floor which could have been a problem. However it seemed newly refurbished and was very clean and very comfortable with a lovely view at the front. (The view from the back bedroom was grotty - plus lots of noisy pigeons and seagulls.) The kitchen was fully functional with plenty of crockery etc. Th oven worked fine. There was a dishwasher. There were plenty of coffee sachets and little milk things in the fridge. The bathrooms and showers were great. There was soap etc.The water was extremely hot and would have been dangerous for small children. It was a lovely apartment but it would have been nice to know beforehand rather than being presented with a fait a compli when we arrived.

Some facilities missing from our original booking. No washing machine or hairdryer. No cleaning materials apart from washing up liquid and a sponge. No spare bin bags. An iron but no ironing board. No information about how to operate appliances or where to throw rubbish out. One bed had a mattress protector. The other just had a too small sheet straight on top of the mattress Having to walk up and down steep stairs.

Really nice home from home

There was a broken blind in the second bedroom and couldn’t have any light , also would have preferred it to be dog friendly

Great location and comfortable beds

We were irritated that initially we were given a different apartment to the one we’d booked, and told they were identical (they weren’t- one had outside sitting space and the lounge was much better appointed). Thankfully it was resolved. The parking was very tight- we almost couldn’t get out on the last day.

Beautiful property. Two bathrooms were perfect for our group. Very comfortable rooms.

Great location very central to the strand. Off street parking. Good sized apartment.

The ensuite mirror stayed on all the time. The shower in the ensuite was very difficult to adjust the temperature….either extremely hot or cold. Lounges were too low. Car park was awkward to park in. One guest damaged his car.

Great appartment, stylish, comfortable and excellent location.

Owner called me shortly before check in to say somebody ekse needs to stay on, would i reloclate to North rd. i declined and this was accepted

The location was great.

The upholstery and carpets were very stained and needed a clean. It made the stay very uncomfortable especially for my son.

the location was excellent, it was a 5 minute walk to the seafront

ground floor ideal for us as a couple of us are disabled

sofa wasn’t all that comfy 🥲

It was well equipped home from home couldn't fault it
