RELAXING 3 BR WITH FREE PARKING AT THE SEQUOIA

Location was ok. Police station is two doors down so we felt somewhat safe. You can take a long walk to Columbia Heights Metro to get around DC. We used Uber a few times since we had two small grandkids with our party of 6.

Lots of steps to climb, no elevator, There were not many restaurants around the apartment to walk to for dinner. All the queen beds were extremely hard and made sleeping difficult. The pots and pans definitely need to be replaced.

Our host was incredibly prompt in responding/reaching out to me, and was very kind and helpful.

The mattresses on the beds were hard.

I loved that we were so close to the Metro and several coffee shops. We were in DC for the July 4th weekend so it was a quick stay and it was perfect for what we needed. The neighborhood seems vibrant and changing quickly, lots of shops under renovation so even more shopping is coming.

There were multiple lock boxes in front and in back of the unit so the check-in procedure was a little unclear. I did call the host and she helped us find it immediately.
