The Yellow Door Whitstable - Peaceful retreat close to beach

The accommodation was even better than the pictures. Compact, but perfectly adequate size for two adults. Impeccably clean, thoughtfully design and decorated. And an A* bed!

Really clean, comfortable and cosy little annex.. perfectly suited our needs. Nicely decorated. Free parking. Great to have bread, butter, jams, cereal, OJ, tea, coffee and milk provided for breakfast, plus a bottle of wine on arrival. Our dog was very happy there too! Lovely short scenic walk into Whitstable through the woods over the railway track and along the beach. Highly recommend for a couple. Would be lovely to go in summer to make use of the sweet outside space.

It is an annex attached to the owner’s house which may not suit some people but we didn’t mind as didn’t spend much time there. I wouldn’t book for more than 2 people even though a sofa bed is provided, it’s just too small a space. Thicker bath towels would be nice. The property was perfect for our needs and we would definitely stay again.

Clean and comfy with good facilities. A welcome pack with lots of local information. Breakfast options with tea and coffee. Compact little annexe, well thought out. Quiet location although the town and beach within walking distance.

The unit is self-contained and has a private court yard that is partially covered and gives a really nice extra space. Would be super in better weather. Fixtures are good quality, and the kitchenette gives more than a room only experience.
