Good location. Warm.

It seemed cheaply made. Heat lamp didn’t work in bathroom. Bathroom tap was around the wrong way. Washing machine didn’t spin properly so clothes came out dripping wet. The front door wouldn’t open properly from inside. We almost got locked in. Rails falling apart. Some of the decor was a bit old and worn.

Location was great. House was nice. Kitchen cupboards were labelled clearly, this was so handy. The house layout was great, very private and safe. House was nice and warm when we arrived.

A few extra plates and cutlery would’ve been helpful. A few extra hand towels in the kitchen would’ve been nice too as we struggled to dry hands-only had 2 tea towels. The beds were small for 2 adults to sleep comfortably and were slightly hard to sleep on - l (think they were double beds). But it was okay for just the 1 night that we needed it for.

The house itself was clean and tidy, which was the only positive part of this stay. Unfortunately, the host’s appalling behavior completely overshadowed the entire experience. While staying here, I’m 26 weeks pregnant, and instead of focusing on enjoying a peaceful, relaxing time, I was dealing with unnecessary stress caused by the host. We were charged money off our card, and the host claimed they couldn’t process the payment correctly but still proceeded with the charge. When we raised the issue, rather than offering a reasonable solution, the host responded with a shocking and aggressive message saying, “I will come to your house, stand in front of you, refund the money you said from your husband’s card, and you can do a free cancellation and rebook other houses.” This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially when you’re dealing with paying customers who should be treated with respect. The host was unprofessional, dismissive, and created a hostile environment. The last thing anyone needs, especially someone pregnant, is that kind of stress. We did not leave early, but the overall experience was incredibly negative, and it made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable throughout our stay. I highly advise against booking with this host, as their behavior is not only unprofessional but downright disrespectful. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere that values its guests.

The couch was incredibly uncomfortable to sit on. The beds were also very uncomfortable with poor quality bedding.
