The accommodation was spacious and quite well appointed. the location was great with a park across the road and the town centre within walking distance.

The property was dusty in places, the TV screens and bathrooms. There were cobwebs in many places, the shower heads in one of the ensuite shower rooms. The interior of the cabinet on the wall was dirty and in the other ensuite, the radiator was very rusty. The balcony needed to be swept while the seat of the chairs were chipped and broken. I reported all of these to the owner but he didnt respond.

The location was good. The apartment layout was nice.

Downstairs en suite bathroom has an overpowering damp or sewer smell emanating from it. It is really terrible and most disappointing. The vent fan makes the most horrific noise when the light is switched on too. Plus, the plug plunger in the sink is broken. There is also no plug for the kitchen sink. The main TV in the lounge does not work on most channels. The TV in the downstairs bedroom does not work at all. I am generally a reasonable person who hardly ever complains, but really? This is pretty poor. At the very least , they should not take any further bookings until the downstairs en suite is sorted somehow. We also had a bailiff show up one day asking for the owner, which probably explains why seemingly no repair work has happened on the property for a while. The location and style of property is very good, but the cons unfortunately outweigh the pros.

Location was perfect for dog walks and heading into town. The house was clean and tidy with all the facilities that would be required for a longer stay.

No instructions for the heating controls so it was a bit chilly, but it was just a short stay. There is a damp smell in the lower bedroom, but I never used the room so wasn't that bothered.

Modern layout, comfortable, great location. All amenities provided.

The sliding doors in the patio. Had no lock. There was no key. All you could do was lift the latch but the door was accessible to open from the outside. I did not sleep all night as I had a child with me and absolutely no security. Messaged the host on both numbers provided plus in app on booking.com. Nothing. It was late, granted, but when you have guests booked in; you respond. Messaged again in the morning. Nothing. At lunchtime they replied to say maintenance would be out. It transpired there has never been a key to this door so every previous guest has been left at risk with no lock on the door. Maintenance had to fit a new lock. A mild ‘sorry about that’ was nowhere near enough of a response to such an awful safety issue. We booked for two nights, we left early.

The quiet neighborhood and walk ability

The downstairs toilet gave off a sewer smell. Had to keep door closed, fan on and aromatic sticks in bathroom. That it was ok. Would be nice if something could be done about the drainage around the parking area. Huge puddles pooled there making it difficult to walk in and out of the entry

Almost Everything! Modern design and facilities, warm and comfortable . The nespresso machine was a huge bonus. In a quiet location within 15 minutes walk of the city.
