The location was superb, just a short walk into town and a wonderful pub just at the end of the road, onsite parking was a bonus.

The property could do with a little tlc its looking very tired, there was bottles of water and bits under one of the beds that hadn't been removed, the tap in the kitchen leaked and we couldn't get the microwave to work, most disappointing was the complete lack of a visitors book and information about the property and the local area and zero contact with the property leading up to the visit, I dread to think what would happen if you had a problem while you was staying there as they did not respond to any of my calls, texts or voicemails.

The property is well located, close to the city centre and next to a park. It also had all the amenities that a family require for a comfortable stay.

The host didn't respond to our message or calls. We needed to ask some questions as most of the gadgets at the property were difficult to operate and there were no manuals to be found. Never experienced such uncourteous behaviour from any host. The road outside the property was also a major issue as it was full of deep potholes.

The en suite shower rooms need addressing. There was a very unpleasant smell in both but worse downstairs. This is possibly a drainage problem.

Many fixtures were broken or inoperable, including the microwave. There was no information ‘house folder’. There were no instructions for the heating, so couldn’t moderate the temperature. We contacted the Manager by email and received no response.

It would have been perfect except for 2 things: The smell in the downstairs bathroom was bordering on toxic. It will have to be rectified. The amazing kitchen was marred by the microwave not working and the fancy features could do with simple instructions. The road outside the property- over which the owner has no responsibility- is like a war zone .
