Rosenhof Garden Cottage

We were met by the lovely host Karen, who made us feel very welcome. She upgraded our room, and was very helpful and informative. The facilities were cozy and nice, and the staff super friendly and helpful. We traveled for work and was relying on Wifi, as well as using the self-facilities to cook. This was no problem at all. In the evening we used the braai by the pool, and the outdoor area which was very nice and equipped. We used the laundry service on site, and had the opportunity to have breakfast made for us when we wanted. It was very easy and safe to park on the premises. Also, no problem at all to arrive early or late after a full day of hiking or climbing in Rocklands.

The bed was a bit hard for my preference, but that was only in the room that we had. If you are into cooking, bring your own sharp knifes, as that was a bit limited. The area is great to stay if you want to travel in the sorrounding national park and mountains, but Clanwilliam itself is a pretty basic town. So make some plans for your stay in the area (Karen had a lot of good tips), or just enjoy the pool and garden :)

Great swimming pool with good braai facilities. Large garden for the kids to explore.

It was exeptionally clean and very well maintained. They have excellent communication from booking until departure. We also enjoyed the vibe and they recommended a very nice restaurant. Although we stayed for only one night, we would also recommend them for a longer stay to enjoy their pool area and lovely surroundings of the Cederberg mountains.

Havent been here... Even if i stayed in clanwilliam, the cottage is very accomadating... With everything we needed
