Free upgrade, complimentary freshly baked bread, lots of space

Small maintenance issues, discussed with owner - nothing serious

The pool area really looks like a nice place to relax during the summer months, also the nice and warm welcome was great with a fresh baked bread!

During our stay it was rainy and cold, the rooms are equipped with AC units but they only cool. There was no heating equipment in the room, only electric blankets in bed. Spending 2 days in a 14° room is a bit cold.

It was cozy & included a lot of extra facilities. The cottage was spacious. The host was very helpful and accommodating and friendly.

Furnishing was a little dated.

The location and general facilities of this property seem well provided. The host and hostess and their assistant, Magriet, were really pleasant and welcoming. There is a lovely big garden, open braai/bar facility and pool.

We had a two-bedroomed extension and whilst the other bedroom was really nice with it's own bathroom, ours was an enclosed patio with no windows. The toilet was loose and the door didn't close. There is nowhere to hang the towels or any clothing.

The setting is in a large beautiful garden. There were many generous treats including a freshly baked bread with jam and butter

The freshly home baked bread on arrival was the start of a wonderful stay. The owner and staff are very friendly. The chalet we stayed in was well equipped with everything we needed. My two Labradors enjoyed the pool and playing with the resident dogs. Superb breakfast with freshly baked muffins and orange juice squeezed while you wait. We will be back.
