Hengar Manor Apartments

We stayed in the Manor House its self. The apartment was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and warm.

Absolutely nothing to dislike about it.

Superb large top floor penthouse like suite in a grade II listed building. Shop within park provides for seemingly everything without being overpriced. Lots of amenities including a swimming pool.. Easy parking

You have to pay for wi-fi (possibly free if EE member) and by most accounts doesn't work very well anyway. Being a top floor flat you obviously need to climb a lot of stairs (and I mean a lot)

Reception staff are lovely, welcoming and informative.

We had a three bed apartment in the old manor house. Appartment was nice, lacking a little in self catering equipment provision. Up three flights of stairs but that was ok for us.

The building itself, the grounds including facilities. Decor in the bar was especially nice a welcoming

Possibly a slightly bigger shower in such a big bathroom as that was a bit cramped and possibly having a teatowel or oven glove to remove trays from oven :D but they were the only things

Location of property and ease of getting into the property very good. Good communication

We received an email from booking.com a day after we arrived, advising about the stairs. We were actually situated on the top floor, which the older member of our family could not manage, and had to be accommodated elsewhere. Also, only half a toilet roll between 4 of us and apartment full of flies!

We had the Butlers room on the top floor, stairs (no lift) spacious 2 bed apartment. Clean and comfy.

Swimming was popular so the pool was crowded - but that was only due to the poor weather.

The manor was so spacious had everything you could need and had so much to do at the grounds
