Helios Garden Boutique Apartments

A really lovely property located in beautiful gardens. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. They gave us great tips for the town and provided a welcome drink and snacks when we arrived. Definitely recommend!

Since it was our first trip abroad with our baby, we were a bit nervous at first. But Jay and Meike made our holiday even more wonderful than we expected, and truly made us feel at home. Their warmth and kindness made us feel as if we had known them for a long time. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The garden was perfect for our child to run and play freely. Its location made us feel like we were right in the heart of history. Being so close to the harbor was a big plus — we definitely recommend it. This was without a doubt the best place we’ve ever stayed on a trip - everything about it was just spot on. Meike and Jay were incredible hosts from the moment we arrived - welcoming us from the taxi and making us feel instantly at home. They were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always happy to share great tips on where to eat, drink and explore. Every recommendation they gave was brilliant. Breakfast in the morning was such a treat – fresh, homemade, and the omelettes were genuinely amazing. We loved starting the day sat outside in the sunshine, planning our day. The place itself had such a relaxed, warm feel – made even better by Nelson and their other lovely pets. Nelson especially became one of our main highlights of the trip! We all said how at home we felt here, and we’re already talking about when we can come back. A really special place – thank you again Meike and Jay!

Lovely hosts, very welcoming and helpful. Brilliant location, in the Old Town but away from the busy tourist areas so very peaceful. Gorgeous garden. Very private, quiet and relaxed. Exceptional homemade breakfast, made and presented with care. Loved being accompanied by Nelson their cat.

Would have liked softer sheets on the bed.

Only one word.. WOW! The hospitality of the hosts makes you feel at home! Attentive to the smallest detail! Homemade-delicious breakfast! The host picked us up from the taxi station and showed us the apartment! The next day he showed us around the center and gave us some information. So friendly and warm environment! They gave us and a small present when we were leaving! Every time they cleaned our room they left little "gifts" like fresh fruit and flowers. It’s a must! Thank you Jay and Meike!

Beautiful location with fabulous garden. Jay and Meike went out of their way to collect us from the town gates and take us to the apartments and helped us transport luggage upon departure too. They also took us to a local restaurant just before midnight after a delayed flight on which there’d been no food which saved the day! Breakfasts with homemade bread and marmalade amongst other things were outstanding.

The location and apartment is very good. The gardens are beautiful and very relaxing. The hosts are amazing and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Just the best hospitality.

Merke and Jay's hospitality! They created an amazing breakfast for us in the garden each morning and Merke in particular went above and beyond to cater for my coeliac husband who was delighted with his homemade GF bread and cakes. The garden was peaceful and a perfect place to recharge during the day . The accommodation was authentic, spacious and clean.

Gorgeous property situated in Old town. The hosts were very caring; took us around old town, made delicious bread for breakfast and walked us to our taxi 4am. Would love to come back.
