Helios Garden Boutique Apartments

- Perfect location to visit Rhodes Old Town (no more than 2 days are needed to visit the city). It’s close to the Port so you can easily move to catch the ferry and go towards other islands. The area is also pretty much quiet, away from tourist crowds - Hosts are really sweet and nice people, they bought the house and practically restored it from scratch

We honestly struggled a little bit to understand why call it Deluxe as - frankly - even basic comforts were not even met and, at this price point, I’d expect them for granted: - We stayed in the underground apartment. We had poor privacy as opening a living room window would have meant for all the people passing through the internal garden to see inside the apartment. Plus, there was a distinct smell of humid underground closed space. You could put an ambient fragrance to reduce the smell. Also, lots of dead mosquitoes everyday. Windows didn’t had mosquitoes nests - Extremely uncomfortable bed. Way too soft mattress, squeaky structure, couldn’t turn ourselves around without hearing all the noise. Don’t even bother to comment the pillows… - Kitchen appliances were too big for 2 people, a waste to use them. Would have appreciated to have a Nespresso coffee machine instead of an Italian caffettiera for 6 people or American coffee machine. Same thing goes for pans - Summary cleaning provided everyday, we saw unclean spots left there for the whole stay (e.g couple of dead mosquitoes left in the upper left corner of the bed) - Terribly rough towels…come on guys…that’s the basics… The hosts are really trying their best to make sure guests have a comfortable stay and go the extra mile, working a lot. We appreciated it, but without these basic things fixed the score cannot be higher than 7

Más que un simple lugar donde dormir, este encantador rincón en el corazón de la ciudad medieval se convirtió en nuestro hogar lejos de casa, gracias a la insuperable hospitalidad de sus anfitriones, Jay y Meike. Desde el primer momento, Jay y Meike demostraron ser unos anfitriones excepcionales, cuyo esmero por el detalle y genuino interés en nuestro bienestar superaron todas las expectativas. Su cálida bienvenida nos hizo sentir como si visitáramos a viejos amigos. Se tomaron el tiempo no solo para mostrarnos explicarnos el apartamento (totalmente equipado con todo lo necesario), sino también para compartir con nosotros sus conocimientos sobre la isla, ofreciéndonos recomendaciones increíblemente acertadas que nos permitieron descubrir la auténtica esencia de Rodas. Cada sugerencia, desde tabernas con auténtica comida griega hasta las mejores playas para disfrutar del atardecer, fue un acierto rotundo que enriqueció enormemente nuestro viaje. La predisposición de Jay y Meike para ayudar era constante y desinteresada, asegurándose en todo momento de que nuestra estancia fuera cómoda, placentera y, sobre todo, memorable. Un capítulo aparte merece el desayuno que, sin lugar a dudas, calificamos con un rotundo 10 sobre 10, todo casero y delicioso. Disfrutar de este excelente y abundante desayuno en la tranquilidad de su hermoso jardín fue, sin duda, una de las mejores maneras de comenzar el día en la isla. Es una experiencia que recomendamos encarecidamente a futuros huéspedes. En resumen, los Helios Garden Boutique Apartments no son solo un alojamiento de primera categoría en una ubicación inmejorable. Son el reflejo del amor y la dedicación de sus anfitriones.

Delicious — especially special for us because my wife is gluten intolerant, and our wonderful host even makes gluten‑free bread for us.

We loved everything about this place. Perfect for couples, walkable area, amazing hosts. Definitely recommend and will stay again if we return to Rhodes. The breakfast in their garden was divine.

I had a wonderful stay here, the apartment is beautiful and very well equipped and the location is perfect, close to everything but still feels very peaceful and quiet, everything was great and the hosts are so friendly and helpful

Jay and Meike were wonderful hosts, they picked us up from the church outside the old city and Jay took our luggage in as it would have been difficult to wheel on the stone paths. They also did the same when we left and gave us a gift which was so thoughtful! On the day we arrived Jay showed us around and recommend restaurants etc. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay perfect! Hope to be back sometime
