Fantastic stay in Rhodes - perfect location and the hosts really went above and beyond!

From being picked up at the bus station to being taken to the ferry terminal everything was very good. The owners, who live onsite, are tremendous hosts and keep everything immaculate. Our garden view apartment was very large and comfortable. The garden, in which you can relax or eat, is a lovely oasis in the old town. Location is very good - on a quiet cobbled narrow street and only a few minutes walk gets you to restaurants, bars and the old town centre. We were very happy with decision to stay here.

Incredibly friendly owners, more than accommodating for our 14 month old. The optional breakfast was outstanding and definitely worth having one morning. Room/apartment felt like i was in Greece not a white white walled generic apartment.

Everything was exceptional, there was nothing not to like

Very well equipped apartment in a perfect location - within the walls of the old town but convenient for local buses and taxis. It was incredibly peaceful and we felt very rested after our stay. Jay and Meike were excellent hosts, always helpful but unobtrusive. The full breakfast was excellent with a variety of home made bread and jam and enough cheese, cold meat, frittata to save some for lunch. It was very cold at times during our visit but the air conditioning unit can also provide heat which was most welcome! A shame it wasn’t warm enough to spend more time in the delightful garden.

Bathroom could have done with better ventilation.

A beautiful apartment with a delightful courtyard garden with seating and sunbathing areas. The hosts were very kind and thoughtful and did everything possible to make our stay special including picking us up from the taxi with umbrellas due to the rain!

What a great place and amazing hosts. Such a peaceful location, with a beautiful garden. Comfortable beds and silent outside meant we slept perfectly. The hosts were fabulous. Meeting us from our taxi to take us to our property. Taking all our luggage for us, and even showing us around the maze of streets and recommending places to eat despite the fact it was 10 o’clock in the evening when we arrived. Similarly, on the last day, walking with us to the ferry port to make sure our departure went smoothly. You could not wish for better hosts.

Having to leave!

We liked very much the openness and ease of both Jay and Mieke. They were extremely accommodating and generous in their attention to our comfort. The room was decorated in beautiful fashion with a very comfortable bed and extra blankets and pillows. This was helpful as it was storming while we were there. They had great advice for restaurants and sightseeing as well. They also have a fantastic library with books on the history of Rhodes. We loved the price of the place and that it included a full kitchen. They have a private garden in the back with lovely sitting areas to relax and have a drink or coffee. They keep the property spotless clean and allow the guests their own private experience of it. We got special treats and their attention to detail went above and beyond our expectations.

The weather could have been better, but what did we expect in late March? We actually enjoy seeing places as they are year round so this was not a trial. Also Jay and Mieke could hardly be responsible for the weather. The cold was beautiful and seeing the medieval sights in a storm was elegant and moving.

Breakfast was excellent and definitely worth the price! We had leftovers that we made into Lunch to take with us.
