17 South Street Top Flat

Very clean comfortable appointment. Beds are very comfy, fresh clean linen and towels lift for your stay. Nice that there is tea and coffee for you to use. Everything at hand to make your stay a very pleasant one.

The blinds in the kitchen and sitting room. One at the kitchen wouldn't go down and was pulled right up, so we had two seagulls sitting tapping at the window and squawking for food. The other one wouldn't lift up, which was a blessing really as it was there that the two seagulls have a nest.

The stay would have been even better if a microwave, baking foil for the oven, and a hairdryer were provided

Pleasant apartment easy access for cliff lifts and the front. Very reasonable price.

Location modern clean well equipped flat , the only down side were the two local residential seagulls that sat tapping on the living room window everyday

Property was in as described. Communication was excellent.

Some furniture was a bit rough round the edges.

Property was updated recently but outside the property was run down and wouldn’t feel safe in the evening alone.

Overall the accommodation was ok. It’s along way to the top so if you have disabilities then this flat is not for you. The problem I had is that we had no hot water for the duration of the stay. We did address this but the owner firstly forgot to come down and then he said that the meter had ran out! The meter is at the bottom of all the flats and this was not topped up until the Evening prior to us leaving. We had already got ready to go out!! Communication with the owner was constant to come over but to leave it until the evening before leaving was unacceptable! Still not heard from the owner for any type of apology or part refund!!
