The Hobbit House

I loved the overall cozy and comfortable feeling it has. You feel like you’re in the middle of the woods in a warm cozy cabin. The bed is really comfortable with a Tv and reading lamp next to it. The room came with some utilities like a microwave, air fryer and fridge which all came in handy. It’s just a really sweet room. I’d stay again in a heartbeat :)

Honestly the room was really wonderful. There’s not really anything I’d say I didn’t like about it. If I had to pick hairs I’d say maybe there could be more electrical outlets or an extension cable as all the appliances take up all the sockets but you can easily just unplug the ones u don’t need but that’s just something really small that would make the room even better than it already is :)

Alguma dificuldade para encontrar o alojamento e o barulho da estrada pela manhã…

It’s magical, I never wanted to leave and actually do things in Fort William. The best thing for me though is the fact that it’s only about a ten minute walk from a trail head that leads to the most spectacular views, and switches back to climb Ben Nevis, if you’re up for it. Compared to the main trail, it’s practically deserted.

Not the property’s fault, but there’s a stretch of very busy road with no sidewalk, and no choice but to either wait for gaps to cross this road twice to get to the trailhead and nearest grocery store, or to navigate uneven, wet ground with cars whizzing past inches away.

Overall the accommodation was excellent. I stayed with my young son of 11 and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only issue I had was that there was rubbish left from the previous occupants. Beer cans and bottles left on the table and the bin full of rubbish. I tidied up before I left but a dustpan and brush would've been handy to allow me to clean up properly.

This place was just so unbelievably adorable, comfortable, and beautiful. The house itself is designed in such a way that it looks hobbit-sized from the outside, but it’s perfectly spacious inside. The garden was so sweet, and the mountains are right there when you step out. The whole experience was magical.

The arrival instructions could be improved. The app said someone would meet me at the property, and I confirmed my arrival time beforehand, but I was waiting there for about half an hour before the host returned my message.

Très petite maison mais très bien aménagée, attention la tête 😅 Propre et bien équipée. Parking privé. Proche d'une route très passante donc un peu de bruit de circulation.
