The place was clean and in a good location

Just needs some minor touch ups and potentially curtains if possible as the blinds do let a bit of light in.

I stayed here for 3 nights Having booked the cheaper room it was on the 2nd floor , it was clean and compact . Perfect for my stay . Travelling for business we have a set budget per night and this was much nicer than Travel Lodge . The kitchen was basic but sufficient for making toast and a cup of tea . The microwave was good for re heating and pizza pocket. Tv was a good size and I loved the fast wifi.

The kitchenette was good : a fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and 2-ring hob. It has exactly enough cutlery and crockery for 2 people. Water pressure is great, and shower is small, but OK

We booked what the owner calls a 'studio'. We weren't told that this was an attic room: large diagonal roof beams and low horizontal ones. A sticker telling you to 'mind your head' doesn't help even if you're average height or sleepy - you can't help banging into them. There weren't any pots or pans that meant that we weren't able to use the hob. The room has one chair and the table has the TV on it. I wonder where anyone would be able to eat even if there were any pots and pans! One small roof window gives a view of the top of a tree and the sky. Car parking was reserved with the owner, but the small car park was full when we arrived, and we were unable to park in adjoining roads because it's all resident permits only.

The studios are located near Greenhead Park and only a short walk/drive from the train station. Contact with the hosts was very easy and I got instructions how to get into the property after ringing the bell. The attic studio was a bit small (but suffficient for one person) and immaculately clean. The bed was super comfortable. There was a sink, kettle microwave and a fridge-freezer in the studio. While it was quite warm inside, the fan made it bearable and I had a comfortbale stay. I would gladly come back but probably would choose a bigger studio next time.
