Sibö House

Martin is a great, very quick to help host with anything you need and recommendations for the area. The apartment has everything you want, we cooked here both nights we stayed and all the facilities were too notch. Really close walk to the beach and many animals to see in the morning, go for a walk at 6am and you'll see toucans, sloths, trogons and many agutis. The beds are great and the rooms are very clean. Would definitely return.

The neighbors cat is a little demanding but you'll be fine.

The apartments in Sibo House are very comfortable and well designed. The small sofa was comfortable, the kitchen had all stuff needed for cooking our breakfasts and dinners and the balcony was charming and green. The bedroom was nice and had a ceiling fan which is important when coming in the green season as the caribbean side tends to be sunny and hot. The bathroom and shower were great, and had hot water all the time. The hotel host Martin was so nice and he helped us with everything we needed. When we were not sure what to do in the area and after leaving Puerto Viejo he gave us great recommendations and even consulted his friends for places we were interested in and he hasn't visited himself yet. When we decided to add an extra night to our stay he offered us a big discount without us even asking. Best host we had in our entire trip! The hotel is a bit far from the village, but not too far (about 15 min walk on Playa Negra and a couple of minutes by car). We felt that this was the perfect distance as we enjoyed nature on our doorstep (many birds flying around) and we could still get to town easily. There is much more too say so I will just sum it up: If you are looking for a great apartment next to Puerto Viejo, this is a great option!

If you plan to stay at the apartment during the day it can get a bit hot. AC would have upgrade this place.

The apartment is really as in the pictures. Beautiful garden and privacy. The kitchen is well equipped to do some cooking, and with great coffee for the coffee maker. The location is great, close to the Puerto Viejo, and it's really easy getting around on a bicycle.

It was quite uncomfortable to sleep, as the bed had a plastic cover taped to it. The fan in the bedroom was not strong enough to make the nights at ease. And the mattress is quite worn out.

Recommended 100%... beautiful full equipment house, quiet place with garden inside,near playa negra,i couldnt ask for more... martin will be there for you for anything you will need...a truly perfect place to chose for your staying..!!!
