Oui on Ludlow - Entire House and Private Rooms in University City

The location was OK but other than that I didn't like this air bnb at all

The bed was stained and lumpy. Needs new mattress. The space around the AC (No insulation) air gets out and bugs get in..... no place to put a trash can in the bathroom(vital for us ladies),

I stepped on a piece of glass outside the bathroom The rug was not only dirty and stained in places it covered a floor that had boards that were missing you sank into an uneven floor We were 2 guests and got only 1 wash cloth and 1 towel. We messaged the property but never received a response. There is no place to hang a wet towel in the bathroom No hooks if any kind anywhere to hang anything like a coat etc There was no cup provided in the bathroom to rinse your mouth There were MOUSE TRAPS IN OUR ROOM AND SEVERAL IN THE HALL. WE GOT 2pillows 1 with a sham cover that matched the duvet 1 with a white case the sham cover could not be removed. Which made me worry it may not have been laundered regularly as it was a decorative piece. The bed is pressed up against the wall on one side making it difficult for a second person to get out of bed

The only good part of this horrible property is the location. The location is very close the UPenn, the airport, CVS, and other good restaurants I used to enjoy in my time at Philly a while ago. The bathroom needs to be mentioned because it is the only clean thing in the house. (I'm writing what I disliked here because I ran out of space) I don't even know where to begin about this property. The problems can be summarized into 3 parts: 1. Customer Service 2. Quality 3. Pricing 1. Customer Service The response rate of these CS reps was as fast as 20-40 minutes to hours and even days. I've asked for early check-in from the beginning of the booking, but they did not answer before the free cancelation due date. Then, they kept talking about how they didn't know if they could provide early check-in or not, until the day before, which was much later than the time I needed. I asked for a refund or even a half refund, but they refused to do it because of their "STRICT POLICY". I kept asking for an early check-in for 11 am or a refund, but they did not accommodate anything. All they said was the cleaning fee can be refunded (not even the electricity fee which I will cover later). In the end, I did say I would take the 1 pm early check-in they said they would provide, but they even blocked me and refused to answer my messages and calls for hours on the day of arrival as I kept asserting the need for a refund or early check-in. After hours, they said they couldn't do that at the very end, just 2 hours before 1 pm. Because of them, I had to carry a big bag all the way to NYC for the whole day. If they couldn't do it or couldn't provide a definitive answer, they should not have aired me until past the free cancelation due date. In short, they were accommodating, very rude, and selfish.

2. Quality OMG. This room is disgusting. I have used multiple booking.com properties and Airbnbs, but this is outrageously disgusting. The floor has countless stains and there is dust everywhere. The bathroom was ok, but the towel and bed stuff were also quite dirty. It is HILLARIOUS because they told me they couldn't do early check-in because they had to clean the room for 3 hours, but if this is the room they cleaned for 3 hours, I'm sorry but y'all have to change your cleaners. I was able to bear this room because I barely stayed in the room due to its disgusting quality. I do not recommend people with babies or children to come here because this is almost a trashcan. 3. Pricing You will be asked a security deposit of 100 or 200 dollars, with a non-refundable 4 dollar fee, that is not listed on Booking.com. Also, when I asked for a refund, they told me they could only refund the "cleaning" fee, not even the electricity fee and "Property service charge per night", all when I did not even stay a single night. Also, I paid $214 for 4 nights + all these weird fees and taxes that made it about $310, but I am telling you, you can get a much better hotel or property on Booking.com or other places with that money. I guarantee. Please do not pay this much money for a room and service this awful. In conclusion, I would NEVER RECOMMEND this DISGUSTING, UNACOOMODATING, and DISHONEST property, EVER. I hope you don't come here too, because this gave me numerous headaches, stress, and pain in my butt.

The fact that we had to pay a security deposit and that place look the way it did….. its basically a house with rooms that be having smokers in there. The room was ant infested and the rug was nasty, we had to put a sheet down to walk. It’s no tv no nothing, just a bed and a little table with a coffee pot and the bathroom.

The property is dirty, smell bad.

It should be renovated
