Oui on Ludlow - Entire House and Private Rooms in University City

The location is good. It is right behind the University City, which is very close to downtown Philadelphia. The bathroom had a very good water pressure, and we didn't have problems with hot water at all. The room was big enough to fit two people.

The heater system didn't work. We slept literally in a refrigerator. It was around 48, and outside, it was something around 46 - so there was no big difference. On my complaint to do something with this, the property sent a maintenance team only the next day - imagine my face when, after a long flight in the middle of an unknown city, I had to deal with this kind of issue when NO ONE was around. I think this was the main issue - the lack of staff and bad communication. Only after I complained the second time they provided us with heaters on the second day, the evening off. Overall, the living there was still far from good because of that first day and A LOT of stress.

2 set of towels, clean bedding. Panera and 7-Eleven just several block away. 10 (at night) and 15 (at day) minutes ride on taxi to Amtrak Train Station. 5 min walk to subway station. Mostly quiet.

Luck of WiFi in the room. WiFi coverage available anywhere except room C2. bathroom floor is leaking. Mattress was terrible. Reimbursable deposit of $100 or $200 +$4 (depends on the room) service fee will be charged after booking.

Location was convenient and staff were really helpful and responded quickly to messages.

Carpet was dirty and heating didn't work properly so the room was really cold even when the heating was "turned up"

The property management were not helpful at all. I accidentally selected this rental and I tried to cancel it. It took 20 minutes to figure out how to reach someone. Within that timeframe they insisted that It wasn’t an accident and it was no refund able. But I had tried to select a refundable unit. So in order not to loose 200.00 I came anyway. Then they had hidden fees about security on another document. And how to pay them. Once I arrived my room wasn’t ready. I had to ask for my code. I There wasn’t any heat in the entire floor including my room or bathroom. No hot water in the bathroom sink. And They just kept saying they are working on it. I froze. Got a cold.. ended up missing two meetings and they finally sent over a small space heater outside by door dash which I had to go downstairs outside in the cold and pick up and figure out how to use with frozen hands. It didn’t work at first either. But I figured it out. I didn’t sleep much here. I spent most of my time trying to plead with them and they wouldn’t bend to give me any money back. Change my room or extend my stay in a heated room. They finally just gave me this heater but it doesn’t go everywhere nor heat the other room or water. It doesn’t justify my treatment. I have a disability and I should have been treated better.

No heat, no TV, No microwave, no fridge, there is no use of entire house, just a room and bathroom, that's it.
