We rented both one bedroom apartments. Modern style of apartment and was very much as described in the photos on the website. Free drinking water was welcome, and layout and furniture was functional. Walter, our host, was very helpful.

It wasn't easy to find the apartment, as it is in a block with no name on the outside. You have to rely on the precise address. And if you enjoy cooking, be aware that there is only very basic equipment. For example there is a lovely oven, but no oven trays or pots or pans that can be used in the oven.

The apartment is at the far end of the strip to the wharf (2 mins walk and you are on the main strip then 10 mins walk to the wharf). It was spacious with a big comfortable bed with side tables. There are 2 sofas to sit or sleep on. The much needed air con was working very well. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was equipped with all the utensils you need to cook, minus a kettle but you can use the pot to boil water. Refillable filtered water is provided. There is also a big refrigerator with freezer which was great to store cold drinks including salt and sugar (due to ants I presumed). Yes, there were tiny ants walking around but not really a bother.. We loved the little balcony with a sink to do some laundry of especially our swimsuits, etc. The only thing lacking is a drying rack. However, there is a small shelf with a bar to hang clothes. Walter was especially nice and helpful. He helped us book a tour/transfer from the airport for $90, all inclusive of airport pickup/hotel drop off and a tour to 3 places of interest (Los Gemelos, Lava tunnels and El Chato ranch - $7.50 entrance per person which includes boots and a guide). Although the driver spoke very little English, it was enough for us as we did not need someone to do a lot of explanation with everything we see. We enjoyed the tour very much. On the last day, as we need to get to the port at 6am to catch the ferry, Walter has kindly called to book a taxi for us with a surcharge which we paid to the taxi driver. Walter, our host welcomed us personally and he organized a transfer and taxi trip for us from the airport. He is very friendly, helpful and responds quickly, we were happy to have him as host. The place itself is quiet and comfortable, perfect for travelling couples. We would definitely go back!

Couches and chairs not super comfortable. It was fine for a few days but not for much longer than that.
