Lovely holiday home in Southminster

Very nice beutiful place. Super clean, has absolutely anything you need. The kitchen is really well equipped . Nice tv with netflix, very large shower and everything smellsmof clean. I absokutelynlived this place and the owner was so nice and gentle. I will.come back for sure for my next work trip

I would reccommend to put some black curtains in front of the main door as the light can filter from the small glasses and can be really bright in the morning waking up someone that is not use to sleep with natural light. This is just a small advice to make perfect this place that is already 10 to10 :)

Location in the very centre of Southminster village, an easy walk from the station

The landlord wanted us to check out on Sunday morning at 0900, though in fact he did not enforce this.

Comfort - everything you need is provided Location - shop outside, bus and train connections on doorstep Cleanliness - extremely clean and tidy. Flat is new.

Flat is next to corner shop, so sometimes a bit of noise outside. Flat has blinds to provide privacy, but if you open them everyone can see inside.

Location and layout of property is lovely. Shop and post office outside the front door so very convenient.

The howlt water stopped after being inside the shower for 15mins. This really annoyed us. Underfloor heating however it takes a while to come on and instructions on turning on heating were not so clear. Unfortunately the whole stay was ruined by the very uncomfortable bed. During our stay we both felt the springs in our backs and had not slept well on both nights. Quite a disappointment to what could have been a relaxed weekend, instead we left with more body pain than we came with. Overall good property and location. Bed is not fit for purpose otherwise it was okay. The lack of comfort during the stay meant it was not a totally enjoyable stay for us.

Absolutely lovely one bedroom apartment. Good communication in respect of key location & housekeeping issues. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, kettle & toaster. All crockery & cooking equipment was available. There wasn't anything more that we needed. Including tea-towels and oven glove. Bread board and hot pan trivets. A smart TV and full wifi. 5 minutes walk from Southminster train station with connections to London Liverpool Street & Southend. Parking space available. Nice easy access to the Dengue Penisular.
