There’s mold in the bathroom. Check-out is at 10 o’clock, which is absolutely fine -there are even instructions on the fridge stating that if you remain on the premises past check-out time, there’s an additional cost of 250 every 5 minutes. We understood and respected that. However, I didn’t appreciate receiving a message from the host as early as 7 a.m. asking what time the cleaners could come. I replied “after 10,” which is after check-out time, but the host continued to insist that I be specific, reminding me again about the 250 fee every 5 minutes. It felt unnecessary and made me feel rushed. Even though I was already aware of the check-out policy, I felt as though I was being treated like someone who planned to overstay — which was not the case. My advice to the host, send the cleaners after 10… 10:01 that is.

Loved the location, loved that it was spacious especially travelling with kids. Also loved that it was stocked with most of your basic kitchen/home items. The washing machine was a bonus for me with my little ones 😅😄

Wifi was pathetic, losing signal every 2 to 3 min . The humming sound of the Inverter was annoying. Mildew/mild in grouting of shower/bathroom. Funny smell in bathroom. Toiletseat needs to be replaced. Peeling paint on toilet seat. One could see holes in the sunblock curtain in the room.. No light at front entrance . Use of kitchen stool as a pedestal in the 1 room made seating less in the kitchen. The check-in was definitely cumbersome with all the identification and ph numbers we had to give of all the guests. Telling the guest that you will review them can be seen as a subtle blackmail . This might prevent an honest feedback, esp due to the fact that you have a R1.500 deposit retention.
