When we stayed at this place, we faced many problems that greatly affected our comfort and experience. The entrance to the house was completely untidy, full of dust and stones, and the road leading to it was not paved. There were also leaves scattered everywhere. As for the interior of the house, it was very old, and the furniture was in very bad condition. Furniture: The double bed was worn out with an old mattress that caused pain in our backs. The sofa was so uncomfortable that it hurt our backs. Cleanliness and smell: The bathroom had a very bad smell, especially during the rain, which made the stay even more difficult. Facilities: The water in the tap was unstable, changing between cold and hot, and the shower also had the same problem, which made bathing uncomfortable. Kitchen: There was no door separating the kitchen from the rest of the place, which led to the spread of odors in the house. The owner of the place, despite his exaggerated fear for the worthless furniture, did not provide us with accommodation that suited our needs. When we complained to him, he offered us a refund if we decided to leave, but when we actually asked for it, he retracted his offer and insisted that we were not entitled to a refund. After continuing to argue with the owner about the poor accommodation, I decided to contact Booking.com management to request a free cancellation. At first, the owner offered the platform management a proposal to take half the amount paid for cancelling the reservation for the remaining seven days, which was not a satisfactory offer for me. I tried to negotiate with him to leave after only two full days with a refund for the remaining days, but he refused this offer, which increased the tension in the situation. Negotiations with him were difficult and uncooperative, especially with the insistence on deducting half the amount despite the major problems we faced during the stay. Suggestion to improve the situation: Escalate with Booking.

I have never seen Koba but we were able to communicate via WhatsApp. People of my generation prefer the real contact but the communication was smooth. To obtain hot water in the bathroom during enough time, you need to put the mixer in a specific position: maximum pressure and average temperature. In the beginning the water is very hot, then very cold then at the good temperature for the rest of the shower.

This property was amazing. Very clean, lots of amenities, and spacious. The host was also very kind and the apartment was very reasonably priced.

No complaints honestly. The only not ideal thing was it was a little far from the metro and other public transport, but it was well worth the price and I enjoy walking anyway.

What I saw was what I got. I liked that it was a small private building on a quiet residential street near the Alvibari Metro. It was exactly like the photos, a studio apartment with an eat in kitchen, washing machine and bathroom with a stall shower. There was a heating/cooling unit set high on the wall operated by remote control. It had windows that opened and the one to the front had an attractive grill to prevent any human being from coming in. When I am staying for any length of time in a city, I always try to find an apartment away from tourist centers but near public transportation and food stores. This apartment filled the bill. What was a surprise was that the kitchen had a back door to one of those shared courtyards with clotheslines. When I opened that door I was greeted by several community cats looking expectant! Since both my arrival and departure flights were in the wee hours of the morning before dawn, I hired Koba to pick me up from the airport and to drop me off on my way home. He charged a little more than the Maxim App, but there was no doubt that I would have transportation and it was worth it. The stove has an oveen, but it has been a long time since I had used a match to light an oven and forgot to ask him how to light it.

This is more about me than the apartment. I realized how much I appreciate my microwave in the morning to heat my milk for my morning latte. I used a soup pot but the next day bought a 1 liter pot for the purpose. The apt came with the soup pot, two frying pans and a hot water kettle. I guess it would be nice to have a pot smaller than the soup pot. The only thing I would have appreciated would be a few more hangers. It was Easter weekend and I brought grown up clothes.
