Location is very central to the Carhiuela via locked gate while the bus stop for Malaga, Torremolinos Centro, Fuengriola etc is right outside the other access gate on Av. Carlota Allesandri. This is also handy for taxi pickup/dropoff.

Loved the terrace with the sun loungers, pool was fab, host was so helpful and everything was better than expected.

We stayed in a 2bed apartment on the 1st floor, booked through James Bowens. The CPP consists of about 5 Accomodation blocks of varying heights from 2 floors high to 9 floors high(ours was 9 floors high) . A lot of the apartments in our block seemed to be privately owned whilst others were holiday lets. There were 3 lifts in our block, which was fine. There are 2 decent swimming pools on site plus a children's pool. One of the pools appears to be open from May to September only, but the main pool and kids pool were open during our stay from February. Sunbeds cost 3euro a day. There are steps into the main pool - ideal for elderly or disabled people. There is a pool restaurant but this only opened at 12 during our stay, although they did have a singer on inside from 5pm to 7pm 3 times a week. There is a shop on site. The gardens are lovely and maintained to a high standard. You can enter/exit the complex either from the carihuela side - a 2 or 3 min walk to the beach and shops- or the top gate which opens out at the main Benalmadena-Torremolinos Road with the bus stop right outside. The top gate is up a lot of steps behind the shop. There is a reception area but no reception as such. The only CPP staff around were cleaners for people who have paid for serviced accommodation. You are basically left to your own devices which was fine with us. Our apartment was not serviced, i.e. we did our own cleaning and laundry. We were fully aware of this when we booked. There is a washing machine, Iron, Ironing board, mop etc. The kitchen has a modern 4ring electric cooker, oven, grill and microwave. The fridge/freezer was taller than me! The apartment has been recently refurbished to a very good standard. The balcony was a good size with good quality table and 4 chairs, plus a setee and washing airer. The view was only of a building opposite and tennis court with a bit of garden to the side, but the balcony did get the sun all day from late morning onwards. There is a TV but only 4 English channels available. The lounge had a 2seater settee and a dining table and 2 chairs. Both bedrooms were OK, we appreciated the King size bed. There is a small safe (10euro per week). You could clearly hear next door's water running and talking etc when in the 2nd bedroom and lounge, but not really in main bedroom. There is no traffic noise. The bathroom had a modern walk-in shower. There was no WiFi included in the price, I believe that had we wanted it there was a machine in reception area that sold WiFi at 3euro a day. All in all we were really happy with our apartment, and the complex itself. Apartment 102 (and as we found out) 101 next door are modern, good value 2 bedroom accommodation in a good complex in an excellent location.

Just returned from lovely week at this lovely complex. Apartment was booked via costabeds. com on Facebook. Home from home lovely clean & spacious apartment. Very helpful & friendly people. Lovely area with plenty of restaurants/bars/shops cannot wait to return.

I have been coming to the same complex for over 20 years and have stayed in various apartments and you have to note that the complex works on various ways. Holiday company, private rentals and via agents who look after privately owned apartments. We now book via Costa Beds.com on Facebook and the apartment is always clean with washing machine so you don’t need to bring a lot of clothes. The food at the on site bar is good value and 2 pools that now restrict access to control non residents using the pool and restrict the numbers to ensure safe use, in addition a shallow pool area for younger children is also available. If you like to walk you can take the walk to the Benalmádena Marina and all on the flat. If you walk to Torremolinos expect to walk up the stairs to get to town centre. Out of the complex towards Torremolinos you have a selection of bars and food options and the shop on site is much less expensive than some other nearby shops and around La Carihuela various shops, bars and eating options are available.
