Carihuela park palace

We arrived at Malaga with the owner of the apartment promising to pick us up. We got that message just before we boarded the flight. There was no washing machine on the complex as p bed was awful and everything else about the apartment was just 1 big let down. We paid less than half of that price for a lovely apartment on the same complex last year and it had all the mod cons. This was a present from me to my partner for her 60th birthday and feel let down.

Had a four day break in April, lovely apartments, very big and well equipped, nice friendly bar area with well priced food and drink, lovey gardens and a great location, 5 mins from the promenade, had a lovely break with family.

just come back after 8 days at this lovely complex stayed in a studio appartment owned by Mamie Appleyard she is on face book appartment was very clean two single beds, kitchen and shower all you need for a holiday. Complex had small childrens play area with tennis court and fittness machines for the adults. There are two pools which are open and closed at certain times notice on gates. Sun beds are 3 euros all day. Bar area is nice and clean and the serve meals entertainment is on certain days. There is a supermarket on site and small shop just out side gates there is another super market. Go out back gate onto main road where you can get buses to belermadina, torremolinos and malaga.

Very clean complex. Well groomed. But if u have children. It's a no no. Pools are all gated up. Probably for security but it's like a prison. No lilos. No swimming toys or rubber rings. No balls. No nothing. It's like a relaxing adult only complex.avoid

This is only a review of a cancelled reservation experience : Do not book this hotel if you are not 100% sure!!!! I made a reservation on April 1st 2019, the hotel charged my credit card 40% of the booking price, I cancelled it for free April 7th 2019, but had to call the hotel twice, write them emails, and finally, today May 13th, after contacting Booking.com I had my deposit back, 5 weeks after I cancelled the booking. Very frustrating.

Basic rooms, but very clean and tidy. Pool area good, but not a lot of sun loungers. Restaurant on site cheap but good basic food during the day. If your on a budget this is a good hotel for you. A lot of Dutch use the hotel

This is a complex a five minute walk from a lovely promenade and beach. The weather this year has been very good Lots of sunshine and no rain (yet!) If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place. Close to the beautiful city of Malaga with loads to do. You can get day trips to Gibraltar Granada Ronda and many more. The theme parks are not open at this time but some great bars and restaurants. Lots to fill the time. You can even go on the beach and top up your tan ❤️ View from our balcony this evening

Only 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport to the little gem of La Carihuela, situated between Torremolinos and Benalmadena. Carihuela Park/Palace is the perfect spot for a fabulous holiday. Just a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The only downside is having to pay for sun loungers at the pool, surely this is unnecessary for guests of the complex.

I did a review for Carihuela Palace Park a couple of years ago following some posts that were not brilliant. I understood why some people had made neutral comments but I explained that a new owners committee were in place and improvements were being made. I am delighted to see that the comments are now mainly very positive are due to the efforts of the owners committee (communidad). Over the past couple of years the paths around the beautiful gardens have been relayed and solar lighting has been installed together with an underground watering system so the gardens look great by day or night. The exterior of the buildings have been renovated and painted and the complex has never looked as good. A few weeks ago the Palace pool was finished following a complete upgrade. The restaurant within the grounds is always busy as it offers a decent menu at a very affordable price. Well done communidad committee the place is looking great!

Visited in July 18. Stayed in 504, beautiful apartment rented from will & communication was brilliant. Would not stay at this complex again. Not child friendly at all. No eating at pool nor allowed juice , water only. Very hard whenever you have a small child who likes the odd snack , have to come out of the gated pool area to give your child fruit or a biscuit. Also not lilo’s allowed in pool either. Only 15min stroll to torremolinos & lovely Irish bar called mulligans in the square for food also fab crazy golf & amusements for kids along the beachfront. Will definitely be back to torremolinos/ belmendena but not this complex.
