Queens Holiday Basement

The swift response from the host in regard to broken tv it was replaced with a brand new one in less than 24 hours

damp smell- due to mould on the walls (dehumidifier didn’t seem to do much)

Nice tidy apartment suitable for students on placement. All essentials included eg toaster kettle microwave oven TV blankets+pillows. Quick response when TV wasn’t working on arrival.

More stocked kitchen e.g proper sets of cutlery, tidy salt and spices, tea towels. Aware the apartment has had problems with mould for a while - one dehumidifier not cutting it.

kids liked bunk beds, good use of a compact space, good shower pressure

due to compact space issues with open and closing items in kitchen

Location was perfect for our needs

Spacious, clean, modern, all we wanted.

Double bed and would have preferred a kingsize but I knew it in advance so wasn’t an issue at all

Marks and dirt on the walls. The bathroom is full of black mold and the mirror rusty. They saying that there is underfloor heat but was always cold and it looks the screens on the wall they are just for cover the holes on the wall. There was a small size dehumidifier to take off the moisture but you can see the moisture on the floor. Noway to dry your clothes or the towel after taking a shower. There is no curtain in the bathroom and the floor is always wet and there is no mop to dry it after the shower. The bed has a very bad quality sponge mattress and makes it the most uncomfortable bed for sleep. The property looks like and previous shop converted in an apartment and it says that is sound proof but you can hear the cars and the people from the street or the neighbours from up stairs. If you want to cook it is better to get your own kitchenware because the existing are not in the best shape to use them.
