Downtown PDL

We liked the location, as it was central to walking to the historical areas of town. It was very clean,and well supplied.

Not really the suite itself- but the restaurant right across the street was blasting music too loud, and too late.

The location was absolutely perfect for us as a group of friends. Very close to a selection of amazing restaurants and bars. The apartment itself was very spacious with everything, we needed. The two bathrooms was great as well, so we didn't have to wait on each other. Finally, Sara was an amazing host. Very attentive and helpful throughout, making everything super easy for us from arrival to departure.

We had some issues with the living room chairs as two of them broke their backs while we were just sitting in them. It wasn't a big deal to us, as no one was hurt and there was enough extra chairs to accommodate us, but still a bit unfortunate.

The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was great. Easy check-in and out with electronic door code entry. It was great being able to open the windows for fresh air. I would stay here again on a return visit to Ponta Delgada. Hot water was plentiful for our party of 3. Food & Drink recommendations; Tasca - everything we ordered was fantastic including the Sangria. Resves for drinks, you won't regret it. The Steak at Terras was yummy!

The only less than perfect thing was the HORRIBLE smell in the common hallways and stairwell. The smell was present our entire stay, but luckily we couldn't smell it once inside the apartment.

Great location and the pizza spot opposite (nonnas) was delicious. Spacious for the whole family and having 2 bathrooms was great and being able to wash clothes after quad biking/beach days was so handy. They came to change towels half way through stay and communicated really well.

Lighting in one bathroom was very poor Second bathroom shower is a bit leaky so ended with wet floors and having to mop after each person Restuarants/bars near by so weekends can be a bit noisy for light sleepers - ear plugs did the trick.

The location and facilities were excellent. Although we never met the host, she was always available to answer our questions via WhatsApp. She also provided snacks and fruit when we arrived, which was greatly appreciated.

The Kommunikation with the stuff / Owner was good. The Interior and place in the apartment was good.

It was too loud, the accommodation is between two bars, One in the front and one on the back of the terrace. From Wednesday to Sunday you can’t sleep. The people are still there till 2:30/3:00 am in the morning. The matrasse is too smooth, we haven’t good sleeping. Also it not possible to open the windows in the night, because the people on the street can just jump in and on the terrace side you have also just opposite apartments with big windows, so that you can look each other. When we were there it was not finished it was in building. When you come into the building it was so much smelling from the humidity. So we have to open all windows .

The location is excellent, you can walk to the harbour in less than 10 minutes, the PDL bus stops at the end of the road. Lots of bars, restaurants; we went to the Continente supermarket for food - 15 minute walk at most. Bed was comfortable, air-con throughout. Sara our host was really accommodating allowing an early check-in and leaving baggage until later on our final day. She also responds very quickly (we had a power cut along the street) when we needed her.

The downside of a mid-town location was the street noise in the evenings. There is a pizza restaurant opposite which opens every day from 1700 - 0000. If you go to bed later it is no problem, we sleep earlier and it was a problem. The kitchen needs updating and had a very limited selection of cooking utensils and cutlery. This lets the apartment down as the decoration is good in the living room and bedrooms.
