Mare Gaia Apartments

We wake up from the rooms were too hot as we did not have air conditioning as a result of electricity cut from 8 AM. so we couldn’t make breakfast, fridge doesn’t cool water, and we couldn’t make breakfasts( electric cooker). We were forced to leave apartment and go out unwillingly to hire car to be outside as I was with 3 children we originally wanted to stay in apartment until lunch. Host lest us know around 1:00-2:00 PM which electricity is back. We was fair and asked for half a day refund of what we paid as we couldn’t use the apartment but it was refused by host

This property is located in the heart of old town Skiathos and a short walk from restaurants and bars and also a small cove where you can swim. We stayed in the Penthouse flat and the views of the town were great and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. It was clean and well stocked everything we needed for a short stay before the ferry to Skopelos. The hosts were friendly and communicative and went out of their way to assist with leaving our bags after check out so we could sightsee before our ferry. Thank you Dima and Alex.

Glass doors between the bathrooms and bedrooms! In one room the toilet door is obscured glass but the shower is not and the other room is completely exposed. Really not ideal for most people and took some logistics to navigate. Access to the roof terrace is via spiral steps which takes a little nerve!

The host was always willing to help us with all requests and provide support at all times! The apartment was big and comfortable and everything you need to relax in the beautiful island of skiathos!

I think one bathroom for four people is not ideal and also the bathroom was quite small

The location was great and the apartment was clean. The lady who welcome us was nice and kind.

We were a group of 4 adults. The apartment is not equiped to sleep 4. The sofa bed is NOT suitable for sleeping and we end up to sleep 3 adults on the same bed. The photos were unclear, and we were inform only after the reservation that we have no access to the terrace with the panoramic view of the inland. Tv was not working.

The house is cosy and clean. The position is great to reach the port and the old town. Dimi, the owner, and Alex are very helpful and welcoming.

When we made the reservation it wasn't very clear the typology of apartment we booked. And the sofa bed was a little bit too soft.

Magnificent spot. We booked as a last minute get away from Skopelos. We could not be happier with the location and apartment. The host concierge, Alexandros, was fabulous.
