Location was phenomenal, host super responsive, kitchen was great (as was the view)

Stairs were a little tough, shower was a bit finicky, the double door at the entrance was a tad annoying

Clear instructions from Torquil for arrival etc. Notified in advance just in case we had any queries.

Parking - notified in advance of parking outside property which was free. However, didn’t realise until day before that parking actually had 90 minute restrictions imposed by the local council. Therefore you had to be aware to park elsewhere during period 08.30-17.30 during the daytime 7 days a week. We had to find unrestricted areas of parking for daytimes if we were in the property, not ideal. However, these other unrestricted areas weren’t far away but it was a nuisance generally. The entrance down the side path could do with some weeding as this gives an unwelcome first impression. Also, an animal must’ve tried to empty a recycle bin so a small area near the front entrance was a little messy unfortunately, but we soon tidied it up.

The apartment was in a very good location five minutes by foot from the railway station. It was very clean and comfortable. I wood definitely recommend it for a holiday.

Small things matter and I think that putting together a welcome pack is always appreciated. I would suggest some milk in the fridge and a packet of biscuits or small cake would be very welcoming to most people.

Rug at top of stairs kept getting in the way but other than that it was amazing

Great location on the high street and for the station. Really well presented and comfortable property and it felt like home. Big rooms and lots of amenities inside the property so we hardly had to bring anything with us.

The property was listed as two bathrooms - this was factually incorrect and very misleading. The ONE Bathroom was freezing as was the toilet cupboard. The shower was not fit for purpose (either freezing or burning hot - a happy medium was not possible) and as we were there on business, we ended up having to use facilities elsewhere in order to wash! The remainder of the home was beautiful with comfortable beds but the later addtion of the washrooms was badly executed and not fit for purpose.
