Perfect location for our trip to Scafell Pike. Huge, comfortable beds.

Great self catering apartment, but would have liked to have a washing machine facility.

"Magical place with beautiful views and horses and foals just outside our window. Huge comfy beds."

The location was stunning with the most beautiful views and surroundings. I loved the garden and all the statues and wooden carvings around which added to the magic of the place. It was lovely to wake up in the morning and see horses and foals just outside our window. The beds were really big and comfortable. Also not far from Scafell Pike. I would love to return here sometime.

The beds were really comfy, the location was stunning and just down the road from the start of scafell pike which was the purpose of our trip. Windsor cottage had everything needed for a super comfy base to explore the area!

"Fabulous location and views"

Incredible location - spectacular views. The room was large and extremely comfortable, particularly the beds. Gorgeous wooden furniture.

Just needs a balcony to admire the view even more!

Lovely setting, great views. Perfect for a group of friends or family. Very short drive for scafell pike

It didn't bother us at all, but everything bar the bathroom is in the one room. Depending on the 4 staying there's little privacy.

"Great option for the Western lakes"

Lovely clean, light and spacious room with fabulous views. Very large beds, powerful shower with lots of hot water. Large TV and excellent internet access. Kitchen facilities were good too. Appreciated that we were able to book 2 nights and bring our dog. Really convenient for Wasdale walking. Would definitely return.

The accommodation is within a farming environment which was fine for us but some customers may want the outside space to be tidier and/or more accessible.
