The Roundhouse

It felt very private and quiet. The facilities were everything we needed for our stay.

There was a slight septic tank smell one evening which had disappeared by morning.

Everything. We had a fantastic stay. The view is amazing, so tranquil. Loved watching the birds feeding including a rather splendid woodpecker. Really warm and cosy with all the facilities you need. No problem with the road nearby, the traffic noise is negligible and doesn't intrude on the overall tranquility. A bonus of a wonderful baked cake too! We would love to return in the future.

Very clean, very warm. Lovely treats on arrival like a homemade cake. Clear communication with host and clear instructions for how to use the facilities.

The Roundhouse had an excellent view of the bay - sunsets are stunning. The garden has lots of action at the bird feeder. The deli at the castle and Roadhouse restaurant are worth a visit too.
