Apartamento El Reloj

Location is fantastic, good shower, well appointed kitchen, parking 1 minute away in underground parking (Boulevard - has enough height for a roofbox!), though worth noting it's not cheap, €75 for 2 nights - but it's in the middle of the city so what can you do 🙂 Short walk to everything; bakery, bars, port and beaches. Super helpful host with lots of information, also messaged during the stay to see if we needed anything else (although I didn't see the messages until after we left, sorry!) If, hopefully "when", we come back, would definitely stay here again.

If you're a light sleeper, it's right by a bar who play music until 2/3am. Wasn't a particular issue for us, but if you need peace to sleep, worth noting The 5th pull-out bed had broken slats, again not an issue for us as the kids' feet didn't reach them.

The location is excellent and the apartment is spacious. The man who greeted us shared with us a detailed manual he put together on recommended restaurants and activities to do in San Sebastián which was very helpful. He had filled up bottles of tap water in the fridge so it was cold for us and the kitchen was equipped with a coffee machine and cutlery/utensils.

There was no air conditioning just a stand alone fan and even in low 20c weather the apartment was very warm. We kept the windows open where possible but it was still hot and it let in all the noise from the street when trying to sleep at night so we didn’t sleep very well. The towels were very musty and small/thin to dry ourselves with after showering. The single sofa bed was broken with tape being used to try to keep the panels in place but this didn’t work.

Great location, lovely apartment with great facilities.

Quite nosy with local bars and restaurants but to be expected given the location.

Very friendly host giving recommendations on what to do and where to go.

It is a bright and well appointed apartment in a fabulous location, a block from the walk down to Playa Del la Concha and right at the border of the old city in the apartment faces the pedestrian Boulevard, which has all sorts of lively, dancing, and singing, and activity all throughout the day. While it is lively both day and night, they have excellent windows that you can close and you don’t even know what’s going on outside when you want to sleep at night. Pablo and Miren are super helpful host meet you at the door and are warm, friendly and inviting. I felt welcome right away. Pablo shared with me all this information you have on what to do in San Sebastian and there’s a big map on the table. They made us feel right at home.
