Smithfield Apartments by YourStays - Gated Apartments with private car park in City Centre

Location is very good and we did self catering.

No proper heating, dirty bed and fridge. In fact, we were not comfortable throughout our stay. We regretted booking the apartment because even when we reported the problems they didn't do much to help. Up till now they have not apologise nor compensated us. I will not recommend the apartment to anyone.

Location was good, only a 10 min walk into the city centre, 5 mins to the main bus station, main living room/kitchen was a good size, washing machine and dishwasher was appreciated two bathrooms to the two bedrooms was very handy. Beds pretty comfortable.

Slightly damp smell mainly in the bedrooms. And felt a bit tatty, lots of marks and stains on the walls cleaning of the bathroom not the best standard, dust and grime in corners, rusty towel rail, and black mould in shower cubicles We was a booking for 5 people, (2 in each bedroom, one on the sofa bed) but there was only 4 knives and forks and 4 chairs for the dining table. We only ate one meal at the apartment so it didn’t cause us too many issues, and the staff via email had been very responsive so if we had reached out I’m sure this would have been sorted quickly. Oh and it’s right next to the fire/police station so our person on the sofa bed at the front of the building had disrupted sleep from the flashing lights and noise.

Beautiful room, great location for Alton Towers.

Very easy location to the bus station which takes us to Alton Towers. Love the area, have been here twice now in different rooms and this was incredible.

Nothing, we loved it.

Location

The property had an offensive smell once we got in, the bathroom was irritating and the water was so slow going in the drain. We reached out to management and they tried to move us to a one bedroom apartment with just one bed and there was no way we would have been able to sleep since we were 5 in number. We ended up staying in the apartment with the smell for 2 nights.
